Doll Show this Weekend!!

I'm so excited and so nervous at the same time. I've been working my fingers raw trying to get as many things as I can ready. I put my embroidery machine to good use with my version of the classic "Poodle Skirt".

I have 4 dog motifs to work with, 3 poodle and one really cute chiwawa with bone.

I'll add more pictures later. I have to run for now!

Another Year My Friends

I can't really add much to what I've said below, except that I know I have grown in my ideas and abilities to create something new and hopefully exciting. I can't express how much it means to me when you leave comments or at least cast your vote on how you feel about the posting by clicking on one of the boxes below each. This helps me in many ways. Thank you for taking the time.

This has been such a delightful adventure. It is great to share a part of me with wonderful people that appreciate my ideas of style. I feel I have grown over the last year and expanded out to new adventures and ways of expressing myself. I hope you enjoy the dioramas I have and will continue to put together using not only my fashions and dolls but also some of the wonderful furnishings from my friends.

Of course this is just a way of displaying how beautiful and wonderful the world of dolls can be. In this world of crazy confusion and distress, it is nice to find escape and peace, for a while, in a world of pretend that we never grow out of or to old for. I hope you can get a feeling of renewal and delight when you visit and find the pleasure and wonder of being a child again and keep that feeling for the rest of the day.
